The only thing all my dogs get is Heartguard.  It’s been probably 36 hours since the last time he puked…  Worst part is we haven’t been able to get all of the puke smell off of him since he laid in it for awhile in his kennel….

Well, he seems to be doing better so far this morning.  He slept in bed with us all night, and I fed him a smaller portion for breakfast that he has so far kept down.  Stool looks fine, but he was eating a bit of grass this morning….

Well, he seems to have sweated it out last night. So far he has been his normal self this morning, back to a wagging tail, excited to go outside, and currently in the living room chasing glares on the wall from cars passing by.

He’s a trooper. He is in our bedroom right now laying on the bed under the ceiling-fan, he goes from hot, to shivering. That’s what makes me think it’s a fever. His breathing is also kinda rapid. I refuse to google the symptoms right now because I know it will have me thinking of worst case scenarios…. Praying he is better in the morning.

Wow, a traumatizing evening for the entire family!

 

My wife has Epilepsy, so I feel your pain.  The best thing to do is just let them go through the seizure without touching them, other than rolling them on their sides so they can’t choke on their vomit (in the case of a human).

Also, make sure there is nothing they can hit to hurt themselves on. I was told by her doctor to NEVER stick ANYTHING near her mouth as she could bite it off, or break it with her jaw.  She usually bites her tongue :-/

 

My wife insist on never calling an ambulance as there is nothing they can do for her and she has been having them since she was little and knows that the best recovery for a seizure is time.

 

Sorry y’all had a bad day, he should be back to himself soon… It usually takes my wife 24hrs to recover, but recovery for a strong seizure could be longer…

I think I figured it out. There is a drop down box at the top right of the screen where you can select Topics. Just got to figure out if this keeps an updated list of current forum topics…

That’s okay, I haven’t been very active in almost a year.  Got married in August last year, then got a Jeep in December and have been creeping Jeep forums…  I’m here now though!
