Emergency Hint

Zoie ate mouse bait on Sunday.  We had our daughter’s Tahoe because we had our daughter’s twins and needed the car seats.  I had no idea there was a box of mouse bait in the back of the car.  Zoie ate one of the baits while we were loading the babies into the car.  I had peroxide in the house but didn’t know how to give it to her, I knew we would need to go to the EVet so we immediately headed there.

We had here there and they were treating her within 15 minutes.  Once they made her throw up and they brought her back to me I asked the tech how to get the peroxide into her.  She said that people try to pour it in but that isn’t very successful, she suggested using a turkey baster.

Thought I would share that hint.

Zoie is OK, pricey mid morning snack!

Glad to hear she is ok. I have always given peroxide and cough medicine on a spoon. You could also practice this (with something else) so that when the need arises they will take somethig from a spoon.
