making your own raw food

with vishnu, we bought ready made raw food – northwest naturals. he could only have lamb or venison. but it worked wonders for him.

lakshmi ate beef, until late in life she got itchy and could only have fish, so we fed her canned fish.

it cost a small fortune, so when we adopted merlin, we fed him kibble. we tried different ones – he got anal sac inflammation so we switched to duck. that seems to work ok, but i do not like the huge list of ingredients. vishnu and lakshmi were so healthy on the raw diet that i am tempted to try it for merlin.

who makes their own raw meals?

how much does it cost? we would have to use duck most likely. no chicken or turkey for sure.

I don’t make it myself but I order it monthly from a local company and bought a small freezer to keep it in. I rotate duck and turkey. I definitely would not go back to kibble after seeing how healthy my dogs are. It is so much cleaner! Have you seen this?
